Having had nearly £1 million spent on the building and decor in December 2007 the George & Dragon really impresses. It has become the perfect venue for dining out and socialising. There is live music in the Atrium bar on the last Sunday of every month which includes our own folk band 'The Dragon Slayers' and numerous other artists. There is a variety of music performed including Jazz and acoustic sessions. Our magnificent Atrium bar really is the place to be seen. With our large glazed heated courtyard, slate floor and easy chairs it is a perfect place to relax with friends or business associates. We offer a host of ever changing real ales and premium draft lagers. Sample our fantastic cocktails, all made to order. If you don't want a meal we have a bar nibbles menu for you to select a light bite. Our Coffee Lounge offers a more private environment to talk over lunch from our ever popular and well priced lunch menu. We serve great food in a modern but welcoming environment. Our experienced head chef, Shaun Done, loves to be creative with his dishes.
